Interparfums is pursuing its partnership with Agoterra to support their efforts to provide concrete financial backing for farmers who adopt practices that promote biodiversity.
In addition to the annual carbon footprint assessment of farms, Agoterra has identified 17 levers for improving biodiversity that influence soil health, ecosystem quality, and biological diversity.
These indicators, now being piloted, show that changes in agricultural practices can help preserve and enhance biodiversity. We are delighted to support a farm currently being selected by Agoterra’s teams as part of their work to identify a tangible indicator for assessing the state of biodiversity in fields.
