Interpafums’ Greenhouse Gas Reduction Targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)

September 2, 2025 | CSR

Interparfums, reaches a new milestone in its contribution to fighting climate change.

Indeed, the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has validated Interparfums’ targets, which envisage a 42% reduction in GHG emissions for scopes 1 and 2 in absolute terms between 2021 and 2030, as well as a 51.6% reduction in the physical intensity of indirect emissions in its supply chain (scope 3) over the same period.

This step confirms that these targets are compatible with achieving the objectives of the Paris Agreement, decided at COP21 in December 2015, to limit global warming to +1.5 degrees. Convinced that tomorrow’s challenges will be met together, Interparfums wants all stakeholders in its value chain to commit to the same direction, if they have not already done so.

The SBTi, a corporate climate action organization, whose partners include CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, the We Mean Business Coalition, the World Resources Institute (WRI), and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), sets the global standard for science-based climate targets and ensures companies’ commitments align with the latest climate science.

With this validation, Interparfums reaffirms its commitment to CSR and its determination to accelerate decarbonization within the perfume industry.
